Whitsett Sports Field is located in North Hollywood, California. The park is open to the public and charges no admission fee. It was established in 1989 by the city of Los Angeles following a deadly landslide that killed 29 people.
The park has a soccer field for adults and children to play at, as well as half a basketball court that anyone can use while it’s not being used for league games.
There are barbeque grills, picnic tables, and several outdoor fitness equipment stations throughout the park. The park also has drinking water fountains installed at each corner of the fields within easy reach. In addition to this, there are 9 parking spaces available on-site which aren’t reserved for any specific person or group so they can be used by anyone.

Parking fee is $1 an hour or $6 for all day
Each table has four benches with two picnic tables per bench so there are 4 people per table. There are no lights so it gets dark quickly around there after dusk.
